Consultation event on government disability strategy

(provisional dates 1 or 5 March)

24/04/2012

The government is calling for disabled people to contribute to a new cross-government disability strategy. Responses to the Office of Disabilities Issues ‘Fulfilling Potential’ discussion document are being asked for by 5pm, 9 March 2012. Inclusion London is holding a consultation event on either 1 or 5 March.

The consultation event will:

  • Provide you with information to support your response, so you can have a direct impact on the national strategy.
  • Not enough time to write a response? Voice you thoughts and help shape Inclusion London’s response.

Inclusion London’s information paper on the Fulfilling Potential document will be available on our website at the beginning of February.

We are waiting to hear from the ODI regarding funding, which will determine whether the event will be on 1 March or 5 March. Watch our website for more details. More information including the ‘Fulfilling Potential’ discussion document is available at: www.odi.dwp.gov.uk/odi
